Fight Complacency
Be aware. Know the statistics in your community. One in eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer. It is important for us to know our individual risk factors based on family’s medical history as well as our environment. African Americans have a 44 percent higher death rate than any other race. Stay in the know.
Fight for Wellness
Become your own health advocate. It is important for us to take charge of our health by getting regular clinical exams and by getting screened. Know what is normal for you and follow up on any changes. Early detection saves lives.
Fight The Good Fight
Sometimes, there’s no rhyme nor reason why we experience certain things. We have no control over that. But the thing we can control is “how we deal with it”. Faith is an action and requires something to be initiated on our part. God will propel us as we initiate the step of faith. Let’s stay positive and “speak life” into our situation so that we can manifest victory. Let’s do our part and then trust God to do His part.
